Introduction
Hi! My name is Benji and I’m a lovely Patagonian Conure. I love to hang upside down in my cage and watch everything you do. I love nothing more than to be out of my cage and to sit with you. I love a cuddle and to get you to kiss me on my cheeks. I am a very happy boy. I don’t habe a preference to mae or female, I just love for you to chat with me and give me lots of attention.
History/Background
Unfortunately in my previous home I plucked lots of my feathers out. This was due to the stress of being left alone a lot and not being fed a great diet. The feathers are growing back slowly.
Training
Benji will step up with no problems and will do anything for a walnut!
Diet
Benji currently has fresh fruit and vegetables, and Johnston and Jeff Low Sunflower Seed mix. Benji will mostly eat, or at least try, everything you give him.
Enrichment
Benji loves a shallow tray of water to bathe in. He really loves his toys and gets very excited playing with them. Benji is not destructive. He also likes a cardboard box in his cage to play with.
Summary
Overall, little Benji is a sweet and funny little bird! He loves all the attention you want to give him and would spend all day out of his cage if he could, He is very confident and loves ro say hello, whistle and sometimes click when he wants your attention. He would benefit from someone who could spend lots of time with him.
