Introduction:

‘My name is Bobo, I am a Orange Wing Amazon. I am around 25 years old.’

Bobo is a lovely boy, he can be a little timid at times and does not like strange people approaching him. Once he gets to know you he is ok.

Bobo is a cheeky chappy and can sometimes get a bit cage territorial.

He loves talking to you and will listen with interest to what you say. He is able to talk a little and asks what you are doing.

Bobo needs a loving mum who understands his needs. He is not keen on men.

History/Background:

Bobo was previously adopted by Problem Parrots, but due to a change of circumstances has had to return to the charity, through no fault of his own.

Training:

Bobo will need further training to help you bond with him. He is very much a one person female bird. He prefers to come to you rather than the other way around.

Diet:

Bobo will not eat chop no matter how much I have tried!

He will sometimes eat a little fruit like banana, kiwi and strawberry. He has never taken to vegetables though we keep trying!

Bobo eats Tidymix.

Enrichment:

Bobo has hanging toys, which he will play with. Bobo is not destructive, so tends not to shred up his toys.

He enjoys playing with foot toys and has balls that he absolutely loves! All of his toys will come with him.

Summary:

Bobo needs a confident lady, who is willing to put the work and love that he will need in his forever home.

Our goal is to ensure that your parrot becomes a cherished member of your family.
