Species: Goffins Cockatoo
Name: Wacky
Adoption Fee: £300

Location: Warwickshire
Cage Supplied: Yes

Introduction:

‘My name is Wacky, I am a gorgeous Goffins Cockatoo. I am female and approximately 46 years old.’

History/Background:

Wacky was originally imported around 1980, by her owner, who she had a loving home with for 45 years. Sadly due to ill health,  he could no longer care for her.

Training:

Wacky is a very sociable bird. She is very playful and responsive both inside and outside the cage. She tends to bond to certain people as do most cockatoos. Wacky is used to having a male care for her, so ideally would like a male adopter.

Wacky can talk a little and say ‘hello’. She is highly intelligent and can be extremely noisy when she wants to be!

Diet:

Wacky eats a varied diet, she enjoys fresh fruit and chilli’s.

She will try most foods that are offered.

Enrichment:

Wacky loves shredding boxes, and playing with rope toys. If you’re not watching her she will climb up the curtains! But when entertained she prefers being talked to and cuddled by the people she bonds with.

Summary:

Wacky is an older cockatoo in need of companionship, love and stimulation from a committed person for her later years. If you think you could offer Wacky a loving home, please apply below.
