Introduction:

Hey,  I am Weedy here listen up!

History/Background: 

Weedy was  originally a found bird who was then adopted he returned to the charity due to no fault of his own and is now ready to find his new home. Weedy is still only young and will need on going training.

Current Condition:

Weedy is a stunning bird and very sweet natured, he steps up, is not bothered by men or woman and loves his food. He also gets on well with other birds. He loves his toys and will happily play on his play stand with them. he loves to be softly sang to and will dance, he’s a very clever little bird and will play games copying the number of knocks you do.

He will make a lovely companion.

Training:

Weedy still needs his training to continue, he is very cle3ver bird and picks things up quickly. He will fly to you for his favourite treat.

Diet:

Weedy love his food!  Currently on AS30 and fruit and veg also has sprouting seeds and soaking pulses.

He also has avipro sprinkled on his food this would need to be continued.

loves Almonds, Walnuts and Banana chips.

Enrichment:

His favourite thing to do is to forage for treats in boxes or paper. lots of time out and your company.

Summary:

Weedy is a amazing bird and has much love to give , in the right place he will flourish.

Read the write up for each bird carefully to make sure you can offer the best home possible, taking into consideration all of the birds unique care requirements.

 

PLEASE REMEMBER: we are all volunteers and it may take time to get back to everyone.

Click “Adopt me” to complete the application form. Please make sure you spend time to tell us how you will meet the care needs of the bird you are applying. The rehoming team use the application to short list so please take your time to capture all.

Once you application has been reviewed you will be informed if you have been shortlisted or not.

If you have been shortlisted one of the team will be in touch by phone or email with 3 weeks.
