Introduction:
Dewey is a handsome boy, with no feathers on his tummy. Dewey will only settle in a female only home.
History/Background:
Dewey was adopted but unfortunately didn’t settle in his new home. hence needing a female only home.
Current Condition:
Dewey is very well and has settled beautifully in his safehouse.
Training:
Dewey is not keen on step up but will go into his cage no problem from your arm/shoulder.
Also needs encouragement to play, on the floor etc because at the moment he wants to be one on one cuddles.
Diet:
He urgently eats As30 fruit and nuts he also has veg but he’s not over keen on those we just keep trying .
Enrichment:
Lots of out of cage time, cuddles interaction and talks. Dewy loves music and to dance.
Summary:
Dewey can be stubborn, so needs a lady who wont let him rule the roost .
He has a good vocabulary even insisting he’s going on the bus not specific on where exactly though. He also shouts ” Dewey Baby, jellybean” and barks like a dog that’s just a few.
He takes a little while to settle in but once he does , he will fly to you for cuddles ,tickles and kisses. He sings and dances to wheels on the buss which is hilarious to watch.
Dewey is a sweetheart who deserves a special lady to call his own.

Click “Adopt me” to complete the application form. Please make sure you spend time to tell us how you will meet the care needs of the bird you are applying. The rehoming team use the application to short list so please take your time to capture all.

Once you application has been reviewed you will be informed if you have been shortlisted or not.
If you have been shortlisted one of the team will be in touch by phone or email with 3 weeks.
