Carla PP1467
Species: Senegal
Name: Carla
Adoption Fee: £225
Location: Bristol
Cage Supplied: No
Introduction:
Hi, I’m Carla, a wonderful tame bird who loves people and would happily sit and have head tickles all day if I could!
History/Background:
Carla lived with an elderly couple who sadly passed away, so she has come into Problem Parrots through no fault of her own.
Current Condition:
She has some feathers missing on her chest, but is otherwise in lovely condition and a very pretty bird.
Training:
Carla steps up well, but it can be difficult to get her off your hand, so training to help with this is ongoing!
Diet:
Carla enjoys a diet of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as TidyMix seed mix.
Enrichment:
Carla loves to perform tricks! She can lie on her back and do a somersault on a person’s finger – she is a very clever girl! She loves shredding toys too, but her favourite thing is human company.
Summary:
Carla is a lovely, loving bird who would do well with most families without any problems. She can be loud if she is left on her own, though, so please bear this in mind when applying. She talks too, and constantly asks ‘what are you doing?’! She will need help with her hormonal behaviours from someone who knows how to handle hormonal birds. She is a lovely, stunning little bird who is friendly to people and other birds. Please don’t hesitate to apply below if you think you could give her the right home!

Some of our feathered friends
Birds are often considered easy pets to care for, but many people do not fully understand their needs, habits, and requirements. When rehoming a parrot, we meticulously select and assess each request to ensure that both the parrot and the home are safe, happy, and healthy. Our goal is to ensure that your parrot becomes a cherished member of your family.
