Introduction

My name is Jasper, I came into the charity through no fault of mine and can’t wait to find my forever home, I would love to find a man to be with

History/Background:

My safehouse family don’t really know much about my background,  I lived in a house with a dog , didn’t like the female of the house only the male so I would love another male owner

Current Presentation:

I have plucked quite a bit but I’m sure with lots of love and care they will grow back. I’m currently in a safehouse with 2 other parrots, dogs and cats , I’m used to the dogs looking at me while I’m safe in my cage and once they are locked outside I can come out. I love to have cuddles with my safehouse dad but I don’t seem to like females so need a male to care for me. I love music and love to bop and dance , I like to whistle and say a few words that my safehouse people have heard. I will take treats off anybody and seem to be used to children ,I’m not a very loud parrot but I’m sure once settled I will find my voice

Training:

I haven’t had much training in my safehouse but I step up and come out of cage when door opens, I seem to be very well behaved

Diet:

I’m currently on Johnson and jeff lean and fit seed mix , I love a very small amount of peanut butter on brown toast for breakfast and I seem to like all vegetables and fruit so far especially peas and chickpeas , banana and apples but too be honest I’m not fussy, I will try anything.

Enrichment:

I like to chew paper and my wooden bricks and balls with bells in ,I love to run about the floor and just sit on my safehouse dads shoulder

Summary:

I definitely need a male main carer, but don’t mind if there is a female in the house too as long as I have a male. I’m used to noise as my safehouse dog friends are very noisy so I will probably learn to bark . I love to be out of my cage and I’m quite quiet but that may change when I’m settled  I would like a large cage with lots of toys and I’m very affectionate  with males .would make the right male a loving companion.
