Introduction:
Hi, I’m Daisy, a beautiful CAG. I love to spend time with people, females seem to be my preference but I will also happily go to my safe house Dad.
History/Background:
I’ve come into the charity through no fault of my own. My owners had to make a difficult decision and decided it would be best for me to find a new home. I’ve been DNA tested as female and I’m 9 years old.
Current Presentation:
As you can see in my photos, I am an absolutely stunning African Grey parrot. My feathers are in excellent condition.
Training:
My safe house carers are working at trying to get me harness trained, but this is slow! I will step up and I’d love ongoing training to keep my mind busy.
Diet:
I love my food! I’m currently on Johnson and Jeff Lean and Fit seed mix and I’ll eat most fresh food. I love to demand grapes, but I don’t get too many of them!
Enrichment:
I love to spend time out of my cage with people, so it’s really important that I can live somewhere I can have plenty of time out. I love a cardboard box! They’re the best! I have lots of toys to keep me busy when I’m in my cage.
Summary:
Daisy has settled into her safe house really quickly. She loves to spend time out of her cage. She enjoys being on the play stand, so she would love it if you could get her one in her forever home! She is not used to being around other birds as she has always been an only child; she is being helped with this at her safehouse and slowly being introduced to other birds. She is a beautiful girl who has lots of love to give! She is a gentle bird and a chatterbox who loves to talk away. She would suit a family life where she can have lots of attention and hopefully lots of training!
