He’s no problem going into his cage for bedtime he will say night charlie

Charlie is in good health, he is a easy going bird.. he can be nippy and stubborn but he is getting better.

Training

Charlie does step up and does fly to you when you call his name,
He is harnessed trained.
We have tried clicker training and he is doing good so far, so this will need to be continued when he goes to his forever
home.

Diet:

Charlie is a good little eater he isn’t fussy at all.
He will try anything you give him
He loves his fresh chop in the morning, fresh herbs, broccoli, cabbage, sprouts, radish, carrots, flaxseed, chia seed and so
much more.
He loves his seed mix of as30

Enrichment:

Charlie loves to be out all day so would benefit from being in a home where he can continue this,
He is fine being left for a couple of house in his cage.
He loves toys and loves to practice acrobatics of these
He loves to shred newspaper and play in cardboard boxes.
He needs to be kept busy as he is a very active boy

Summary:

Overall Charlie is a lovely bird, he will be best in a family environment and a busy household.
He will need to be out most of the day, and would benefit from the clicker training to be continued
He isn’t loud or destructive he has a huge vocabulary for such a small bird and picks up words very
easy.
He is harnessed trained and loves to be out showing off on it
He loves head tickles and cuddles and he does step up when he’s told to and fly to you when you call
his name.
He can be a little nippy and stubborn at times but this is improving daily.
He does have a slight preference towards females and loves children but he is fine around men.
He will be sadly missed in his safehouse and he’s been an absolute pleasure and easy going bird.

Charlie’s perspective: I step up when told I also fly to you when you call my name, I am a very active boy and love to be kept busy..
I am harnessed trained and I love to go out on it and show off my vocabulary skills.
I have a huge vocabulary for such a small bird, I laugh, I cough, I say I love you, I ask you what’s your problem and so much
more.
I can be a little nippy at times, and stubborn but I am getting better.
I love being centre of attention so I would be best in a house with no other birds or a bigger bird as I do like to rule the
roost.
I’m not loud or destructive I just love to talk and I will talk all day long.
